These 3 books by Lucy McConnell are some of my favorite books right now. I have to admit when I downloaded The Academic Bride I wasn't do sure I would be able to get into the story and wasn't sure it would be the type of book I enjoy. I loved them though. They are all also Kindle Unlimited!!
The Academic Bride
Janel is an Architecture student and is pretty desperate to find money for a trip to dig in Mayan caves. She meets Pamela who introduces her to the Billionaire Marriage Brokers. Except Janel doesn't know thats the job she is interviewing for.
I enjoyed this read. It was easy to get into and fun to watch and see if Janel finds more then the money she needs. I loved the shopping and makeover she got. Seriously who wouldn't love a personal shopper and seemingly unlimited budget. I thought it was a a little funny or odd that they also had ago have a personal trainer to keep their appearance at their best. But it works, although the emphasis on prefect looks isn't my favorite.
Nick, is a great hero for the story he is sweet and kind to Janel and even though it isn't a marriage of Love he treats her with so much kindness.
Best of all the book is clean no violence sex of swearing, just some good kissing.
The Organized Bride
Gabe & MaKayla's story is another great story. Once again I think my favorite part of this story is that Gabe is so good to MaKayla. I guess I am a sucker for the door holding, hand holding gentleman type. I loved how he was always getting her tea. It's the little details that really make me love the character and make me care about their story. I love how MaKayla is a tough girl and stands up for herself doesn't let Susan treat her badly at all and hows her in the end how incredible she is.
Oh and other then the amazing wardrobe and personal trainer. I love their own little suites the brides all have in their homes. MaKayla just loved her show rack in her closet she was so cute! Of course I would be in heaven too.
No sex violence or swearing... happy reading!
The Professional Bride
Amber really is the professional in the Bride business she has had 3 husbands. She's never fallen for any of them just made lasting life long friendships as she helps them build their careers and lives. She thinks she is headed for a tropical vacation after divorcing #3 but instead she gets asked to help out groom #4 who happens to live on a ski resort.
Rym is not interested at all in a wife but per his Grandfathers last wishes he has one. It seems to take a long time for him to warm to Amber and then all at once. He was so stubborn it drove me crazy!!
I loved the way this one ends, another great sweet story.
